Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern all bookings and services provided by Next Step Destinations (Insert Legal Entity Name) ("we", "us", or "our"). By making a booking, paying an invoice, or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1) Definitions

  • Client / You: the person making a booking and all persons on the same booking.
  • Package: any combination of services we arrange, including but not limited to accommodation, transport, activities, tickets, and guides.
  • Supplier: third‑party providers (airlines, hotels, DMCs, transporters, etc.) engaged to deliver parts of your trip.

2) Eligibility & Accuracy of Information

  • You confirm you are 18 years old or booking with parental/guardian consent.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate guest details (names as per passport, DOBs, IDs, meal/bed preferences, etc.). Any costs due to inaccuracies are borne by you.

3) Bookings, Payments & Documents

  • Deposits: A non‑refundable booking deposit (typically 20–30% or as advised) is due to initiate reservations. No services are held until deposit receipt.
  • Balance: Full payment is generally due 15 days before trip start (or as communicated for peak periods/visa processing/airfare rules).
  • Payment methods: As communicated on invoice (UPI/IMPS/NEFT/cards/payment link). GST is additional where applicable. Our GSTIN: XXABCDE1234F1Z5.
  • Vouchers & tickets: Issued 2–5 days prior to departure after receiving full payment and required documents.
  • Names & IDs: Must exactly match government IDs/passports; corrections may incur airline/supplier fees or be impossible per fare rules.

4) Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Dynamic pricing: All prices are subject to change until fully paid due to currency fluctuations, taxes, surcharges, fare buckets, and supplier revisions.
  • Inclusions: Only what is expressly listed in your quotation/invoice is included.
  • Exclusions: Personal expenses, tips, room service, porterage, optional tours, early check‑in/late check‑out, visa fees, RT‑PCR/medical tests, insurance, etc., unless specified.
  • City/local taxes & resort fees may be payable directly by guests as per local regulations.

5) Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Our ability to change/cancel depends on the specific supplier rules of your booking. The following is a general framework—your invoice/email may specify different terms which will prevail.

*Airlines/visas/ferries/events/peak‑season blocks may be fully non‑refundable from the moment of purchase.

  • Amendments: Post‑booking changes (dates, names, hotels) are subject to availability and supplier fees.
  • Refund timelines: Refunds (if any) are processed after we receive funds back from suppliers; timing varies (usually 7–30 working days).
  • Unused services: No refunds for partially used/unused services once trip commences.

6) Passports, Visas & Compliance

  • Passport validity, visas, e‑visas, transit visas, permits, and entry requirements are your sole responsibility. We can assist, but approvals are at the discretion of authorities.
  • Immigration/security decisions, airline boarding denials, or overstay penalties are beyond our control and at your risk/cost.

7) Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance (medical, trip cancellation/curtailment, baggage, personal liability) suitable to your itinerary and activities.
  • Claims are subject to insurer policy terms. We are not the insurer and cannot guarantee claim outcomes.

8) Health, Fitness & Conduct

  • Disclose any medical conditions, reduced mobility, or special assistance needs at the time of booking. Some activities may be unsuitable without prior clearance.
  • You must follow local laws, park rules, safety briefings, guide instructions, and refrain from disorderly or illegal conduct. We may terminate services without refund in case of serious misconduct.

9) Accommodation, Transport & Activities

  • Hotels: Star ratings are indicative; room allocation, bed types, views, and floor are at hotel discretion. Early check‑in/late check‑out is chargeable unless stated.
  • Transport: Vehicle type depends on group size and local regulations. Delays due to traffic, weather, or checks are possible.
  • Activities/tours: May be weather/season dependent. Operators may cancel or re‑sequence for safety or operational reasons.

10) Force Majeure

We will not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, political unrest, air traffic issues, or government actions. In such cases, refunds (if any) depend on supplier policies after permissible deductions.

11) Liability & Indemnity

  • We act as an agent for independent suppliers; each supplier’s terms apply to your booking. Our liability is limited to the amount we directly control for our services.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for acts/omissions of third‑party suppliers.
  • You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or applicable laws.

12) Intellectual Property & Privacy

  • Website content, itineraries, logos, and creatives are owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not copy or redistribute without prior written consent.
  • We process personal data per our Privacy Policy. By booking, you consent to such processing and necessary data sharing with suppliers/authorities for trip fulfilment.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with competent courts/fora at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
  • Parties will first attempt good‑faith resolution; failing which, disputes may be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually, held at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, per the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Language: English.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version and date above indicate the latest revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
